Privacy
CardSense website privacy
Website accounts store your email address, display name, device preference, update preference, password hash, and support requests. The website does not store wallet cards, barcode values, card numbers, or precise location data.
Why we use this information
We use it to operate your account, remember preferences, provide support, protect the service, and send product updates only when you request them.
Security and retention
Passwords are irreversibly hashed. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Rate-limit identifiers are one-way hashes. Support records are retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide support.

Optional AI assistant
If you enable AI conversations, your message text is processed by CardSense and OpenAI to interpret wallet requests. Your wallet, card photos, and location are not uploaded to the assistant. Numbers and known card secrets are filtered on your phone; avoid including private information. CardSense does not persist conversations and requests non-storage of OpenAI responses. OpenAI abuse-monitoring retention may apply. Account-linked sign-in token hashes and rate-limit counters protect access. Turn off AI conversations at any time; your local wallet remains available.
